  • 1 cup vanilla lowfat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1 banana, cut in 2-inch lengths
       (or nectarine)
  • 3 Tablespoons dry roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  •    apple juice

Combine all ingredients in blender - add apple juice to bring the level in the blender up to 2 cups. Turn on blender and slowly count to 10. This gives the drink a "texture" - small bits of banana and crunchy seeds. You can blend it longer to suit your own taste.
