Garlic Green Beans

4 servings

  • 1 pound green beans, cut & ends trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  •    salt & pepper to taste

Steam beans about 8 minutes; briefly rinse under cold water to preserve the color; drain well. Combine the garlic, vinegar & olive oil. Add warm green beans and toss until well coated.

Note: Eat right away...does not keep well. The garlic overpowers the green bean taste.
