Mediterranean Tuna Pita

4 servings

  • 2 6 oz. cans canned solid white tuna
       in water, drained
  • 1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup lowfat mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon dry basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ripe tomato, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 pita breads
  • canned sliced ripe olives

Combine tuna, yogurt, mayonnaise and seasonings; mix well and chill.

Cut pita bread in half; fill pockets with tomato, cucumber, tuna mixture and top with olives. Enjoy.
